Spikeguard Protectors Ordering Information
Ordering information is straightforward with the part number system as follows, for the 250, 350, and 450 series:
No designation of a coaxial connector for the 450 series will identify a series mounted directly to a circuit via soldered terminals, such as follows:
The Quick-Connect block part numbering is as follows:
Any type of coaxial connector can be specified to fit specific requirements, Since a coaxial Spikeguard is in shunt with the load, it is only necessary that the suppressor center conductor carry the desired power of the transmitter, and the clamping circuit provide the breakdown voltage desired. The part numbering system is readily adaptable to specifying other connectors along with the desired impedance and clamping voltage, thus assuring the transmitter and/or receiver of protection during normal operation.
