Mil-Std 461 Rev G has introduced an option of using a 50 Ω, 5 µH LISN for use in specialized testing circumstances. The 50 Ω, 5 µH LISN can be used when the common mode impedance vs. frequency is more representative of the actual installation and or if the intended operation of the EUT is adversely influenced by the use of the standard 50 Ω, 5 µH LISN circuit.
