The FCC-TEM-JM7C extends the operating frequency range beyond that of existing devices to now permit conducting emissions and immunity testing of Integrated Circuits to 8 GHz. The IC is mounted on a test fixture that bolts in place. Once installed, measurements as per IEC 61967-2 and -8, SAE 1752-3, and IEC 62132-8 can be performed to 8 GHz.
The FCC-TEM-JM7C can be used for immunity testing and requires approximately 0.1 milli-watts input power to achieve a 14 volt per meter electric field and approximately 1 watt to achieve 1400 volt per meter electric field.
